araPy · v1.1 · 2026-11-06 · [email protected]
Terms of Use · araPy
1. Who we are
araPy is an app developed and published by Irundy Apps — Capiatá, Paraguay — [email protected] (“Irundy Apps”, “we”). Contact: [email protected].
2. Acceptance
By installing, opening or using araPy, you confirm that you have read and accepted these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app. The first time you open the app you are asked to accept them expressly; if we change them in a relevant way, we will ask you again.
3. What araPy is
3.1. araPy helps you take one photo a day, keep it in albums and make month or year videos (timelapse) on your phone. In trip, day trip or vacation albums it also draws the map and adds up the distance.
3.2. The distance is a straight-line estimate between photos taken with the araPy camera. It is not an official measurement and does not prove anything. Medals and trips around the world are a game.
4. Your photos and your backups
Your photos stay on your phone. If you lose it, it breaks or you uninstall the app without saving a backup (Settings → Photo backup), the photos are lost and we cannot recover them. You choose where to keep the backup, for example in your Google Drive.
5. Location
Day-by-day albums (daily life, pet, plant, baby, body progress, build) never save where a photo was taken. Trip, day trip and vacation albums save it only if you allow location, for your map and your distance. You can delete the location of all photos in Settings.
6. Your trip page (“Come along on my trip”)
6.1. Posting a trip is optional. You must be 18 or older and accept these Terms.
6.2. What you post is a public page at irundyapps.com/v/: anyone with the link can see, copy or share it. Places are approximate (about 1.1 km), with the day and never the time; nothing from the last 6 hours is posted (never in real time), and nothing within 2 km of the home you marked.
6.3. You keep all rights to your photos. You give us a free, non-exclusive permission only to store and show the thumbnails and the details of your trip on that page until you delete it.
6.4. You are responsible for what you post. Post only your own photos or photos you have permission to post. Do not post other recognizable people without their permission, or children without their parents’ permission. No nudity, sexual content, violence, illegal content or other people’s personal data, and nothing that shows someone else’s home or property without their permission.
6.5. Explore with care. A beautiful place can be dangerous: don’t take risks for a photo or to be the first, don’t enter restricted areas or private property, and leave the place as you found it. Everyone is responsible for where they go and what they do.
6.6. Thumbnails go through an automatic review before they are shown. We may hide or delete, without prior notice, anything that breaks these Terms or is reported with good reason.
7. Reports and takedown requests
Anyone can tap “Report” on a trip page. With 3 reports, the trip is hidden automatically until we review it.
If you appear in a posted photo, or a trip shows something of yours (your home, your property or your data), email us at [email protected] with the link to the trip. We will reply within 7 days and, if appropriate, take it down. You don’t need the app or an account.
8. How to delete what you posted
In araPy, from “My odometer” or from the album: “Delete the trip” or “Delete everything I posted”. Everything disappears from the site, thumbnails included (a copy cached on Cloudflare’s network may take up to 1 hour to stop showing). Deleting the album, deleting everything in Settings or uninstalling the app does NOT delete what you posted. Your profile is a key stored on your phone: write down the recovery code or keep your photo backup. If you lost it, email us at [email protected] with the link to each trip.
9. No warranties
The app and the trip page are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Irundy Apps does not guarantee that they will work without interruptions or errors, or that the distance, the maps or the place names are accurate.
10. Limitation of liability
10.1. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Irundy Apps will not be liable for direct or indirect damages, lost photos, what other people do with what you post, or accidents or problems in the places you visit.
10.2. If a competent authority finds that there is liability despite the above, it will be limited to the amount you paid Irundy Apps for the app in the twelve (12) months before the event (in the free version, zero).
10.3. Nothing here limits the rights that the law grants you as a consumer and that cannot be waived.
11. Permitted use
Not allowed: cheating on distance (simulated location, changing the phone’s time, altered backups or a modified app), posting other people’s content without their permission, using the trip page to harass or expose anyone, or copying, decompiling or redistributing the app except as the law allows. Doubtful distance simply doesn’t count.
12. Age
araPy is not directed at children. You must be 18 or older to post a trip.
13. Pro version, purchases and ads
13.1. The free version may show third-party ads (Google AdMob). Ads are not recommendations from Irundy Apps and are never shown in the camera or over an open sheet.
13.2. The Pro version is bought in the app store (for example, Google Play). Billing, cancellation and refunds are governed by that store’s terms.
14. Intellectual property
The app, its design, texts and music, the “araPy” and “Irundy Apps” brands and their logos belong to Irundy Apps or its licensors. Maps are by OpenFreeMap, with data © OpenStreetMap contributors.
15. Changes
We may update these Terms. The current version is always in the app and at https://irundyapps.com/legal/arapy/. If the change is relevant, we will ask you to accept it again.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Paraguay. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Capiatá, Paraguay, without prejudice to the non-waivable rights that the law of your country grants you as a consumer, including the right to complain to the authorities of your country.
17. Contact
If you find an error in the app or in a text, write to us at [email protected]. We review every report and correct whatever is needed.
Privacy Policy · araPy
1. Controller
Responsible for the app and the trip page: Irundy Apps — Capiatá, Paraguay — [email protected]. Privacy contact: [email protected].
2. In one line
Your photos, albums and places stay on your phone. The only things that leave it are what you choose to post from a trip (with approximate places) and the technical data of the services in section 6.
3. What the app stores on your phone
• The photos (resized) and their thumbnails, in the app’s private folder, not in your phone’s gallery. They are re-created on the phone, so they carry no camera or GPS data inside (EXIF).
• The details of each photo: the day, the time, the phone’s tilt and, only in trip, day trip or vacation albums, the place with what the GPS reported (accuracy, GPS time and whether the phone flagged the location as simulated), to check the distance.
• The home you mark (for “Hide my home”), your settings, your acceptance of these texts (date and version), the nickname and key of your trip profile and the list of what you posted.
You can delete a photo, an album, everything (“Delete everything” in Settings) or only the places (“Delete the location of all photos”). You keep your photo backup wherever you choose; it contains your albums, photos, places and your profile key, so keep it somewhere only you can open.
4. Your location
Day-by-day albums never save where a photo was taken. In trip, day trip and vacation albums, and only if you give permission, the app asks for the location when you open the camera and when you take the photo (and once more if you mark your home in Settings), never in the background. The location stays on your phone: it does not reach us, except what you post from a trip (section 5). “Hide my home” removes the points near your home from the maps and videos you share. In those videos, places are approximate (about 1.1 km) and, with “Hide my home”, nothing within 2 km of your home is shown. You choose when to share them: if you share one during the trip, it shows where you have been up to that moment.
5. What is uploaded if you post a trip
Only if you tap “Post”, the following is uploaded to the app factory’s site: the nickname and title you write; for each chosen photo, the place rounded to about 1.1 km, the day, the place name and country, and a small thumbnail (about 20 KB, without EXIF data); the trip’s distance and, if you paste it, the link to your video. The time of each photo is sent only to order the stops and check they are not from the last 6 hours: it is neither stored nor shown.
To recognize you without an account, a fingerprint (SHA-256) of your profile key is stored, never the key itself. The app language and whether Google Play Integrity confirmed the app are also stored. Your IP address is not stored: anti-abuse limits use a daily fingerprint that does not reveal it.
It is stored on Cloudflare (a D1 database) until you delete it or we take it down. The page does not appear in search engines, but anyone with the link can see it.
Before being shown, each thumbnail goes through an automatic review (Cloudflare Workers AI) that only looks for nudity or violence; those that fail are not stored. For the name of each stop, the phone asks OpenStreetMap (Nominatim) using the already approximate place and the app language. When you post, Google Play Integrity confirms that the app is the original one and that the phone has not been tampered with; Google receives a request from the app with a fingerprint of the stops, not your photos or places.
6. Technical data collected by third-party services
We never pass on your photos, your places or what you write:
• Firebase Analytics (Google): which screens are used and what fails. Data: a random installation identifier, device model, system version, language, approximate country and usage events. It can be turned off in About → “Anonymous statistics”. Google keeps these statistics for up to 2 months.
• Firebase Crashlytics (Google): to detect and fix unexpected crashes. Technical data about the error and the device. Kept for up to 90 days.
• Google AdMob (Google): the ads in the free version. Data: the advertising ID, device data, interaction with the ads and the approximate location Google infers from the connection.
• Google Play (purchases): processes the Pro version. We only receive the purchase confirmation.
• OpenFreeMap: when you look at a map, the phone requests the map images for that area, like any map on the internet (it sees your internet address and the map area).
• Our own anonymous counting (the factory’s site, on Cloudflare): counts how many times the app is opened, its recommendations are tapped, and trips are posted or visited. It stores only the day, the app and the type of event, with no device identifier.
These providers handle data under their own policies: https://policies.google.com/privacy , https://support.google.com/admob/answer/6128543 and https://www.cloudflare.com/privacypolicy/ .
7. People who view a trip page
The page uses no cookies. It counts the visit (the day and where it came from, such as “qr” or “tiktok”) without storing who you are. “Don’t show me this person’s trips” is saved only in that browser. “Report” stores the reason and a daily fingerprint, not the IP address. To draw the map, the browser downloads MapLibre from unpkg.com and the map images from OpenFreeMap.
8. People who appear in the photos
If you post photos where other people appear, you are responsible for having their permission. araPy does not recognize faces or identify anyone. Anyone who appears in a trip can ask for it to be taken down (section 10).
9. Purposes and legal basis
Storing and showing your photos, your map and your distance (providing the service). Posting a trip (your consent, which you can withdraw by deleting it). Security and anti-cheating checks (legitimate interest). Statistics and improvement (consent where the law requires it; legitimate interest where it does not).
Ads: where the law requires your consent (for example, in the European Union), Google asks for it with its form before using your data for personalized ads. In other countries, including Paraguay, Google may personalize ads using your phone’s advertising ID; you can reset it or ask that it not be used for personalized ads in your phone’s settings.
We do not sell data. We do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects for you.
10. Your rights and how to delete
In the app: delete photos, albums or everything; delete the places; “Delete the trip”, “Delete everything I posted” and “Download my data” (what was posted with your key, exactly as it is on the site). If you lost your key, or if you appear in someone else’s trip, email us at [email protected] with the link: we reply within 7 days.
Depending on the law of your country, you can request access, correction, deletion and objection, and withdraw your consent where applicable. You can also complain to the data protection authority of your country.
For example: in Paraguay, Law No. 7593/2025 on Personal Data Protection; in the European Union, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR); in Brazil, Law No. 13,709/2018 (LGPD). For other countries, check your country’s data protection law.
We only give data to an authority with a court order, and very little exists: the nickname, the approximate places, the days, the place names, the thumbnails, the video link and the key fingerprint.
11. International transfers
Google, Cloudflare and OpenStreetMap services may process data outside your country (for example, in the United States or the European Union), with recognized safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
12. Retention
What is on your phone, until you delete it. What you posted, until you delete it or we take it down; after deletion it may remain for up to 7 days in the database’s automatic backup and up to 1 hour in the memory of Cloudflare’s network. Technical data, for the time stated in section 6.
13. Minors
The app is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their data. You must be 18 or older to post a trip.
14. Security
Your photos are protected by the security of your own phone: use a screen lock. Your profile key and recovery code let anyone delete or change what you posted: don’t show them to anyone. The app and the site always communicate with encryption (HTTPS).
15. Changes and contact
We may update this Policy. The current version is in the app and at https://irundyapps.com/legal/arapy/. If the change is relevant, we will let you know in the app and ask you to accept it again. Contact: Irundy Apps — Capiatá, Paraguay — [email protected].
